Some Nice Pligg sites

Here’s a list of some great Pligg based sites reviewed recently by me and my techy PHP coder friends Eric, Dave, Paul and Nirmal. We decided to neutrally make a list of 50 sites that we find really good and then merged the list. Even though its very hard to access these sites but some sites undoubtedly ahead of others.

We were inspired by Stan Schroeder . In last January 2007 he published list of Pligg sites based on criteria by which they were chosen were originality of the design and overall quality of the site.

For those not familiar with Pligg, it’s an open source media discovery sites like digg.com.

Another social content site based on exchanging deals, Dealigg differentiates itself by using 2 columns for the main content, which works surprisingly well. The voting buttons are non-obtrusive, which makes the whole community part of the site seem more of an afterthought, but that’s ok - on some sites, content is equally important as the community.

One of the growing Pligg based site that get out of digg.com style look. Last revision of site shows a silent vote feature and Editor features. Its a nice place for moms.
